The way he talked about it and the meaning behind the book was what sold me!!! I bought it, read it to my kids and they (ages 4,7,8,11) all asked me to read it again!! We’ve read it every night since receiving it!!! I’m planning on reading to each of their classes for mystery reader too!!! I know all of the kids will crack up!! I bought it for my 7yr old son because as soon as I tell him to read he says “I don’t want to read!” What better book for him then this one?!?!? He LOVED it! It had some challenging words to keep him focused but very entertaining and a funny way to introduce/reinforce the progression of words to sentences to paragraphs and all that goes into reading.
